Design has a power to motivate, inspire, and communicate in ways that enhance our vision, understanding, and interests.\u00a0 It was my professional work experience and a personal passion\/love for visual communication, graphic design, web development, and multimedia design which led me to pursue my Masters and PhD (Ed Policy & Leadership, Ed Technology, & Ed Psychology) and my current career in Higher Education Leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

Design enhances information processing, understanding of complex concepts, and in terms of education it leads to high quality course design, lessons & presentations, online usability and accessibility, and much more. Design has rooted foundations that impact higher ed research, teaching, and learning which influence student motivation, engagement, and success.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]
